Director of Sales

We are looking for a results-oriented, go-to-market Director of Sales who is responsible for all revenue generating processes. The Director of Sales is responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization’s revenue operations. You will be accountable for the performance of all global revenue operations functions within the organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Primary responsibilities:
- Drive global revenue, profitability, through innovative go-to-market strategies and by building an industry leading commercial function.
- Lead Sales, Customer Success and Marketing functions.
- Propel sales leadership to develop and implement revenue driving strategies, which create long-term customer and business value.
- Drive marketing leadership to create and execute winning marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Inspire customer success leadership to define and deliver on the customer value proposition, without sacrificing profitability targets.
- Foster a world class customer-first focused organization.
- Effectively resolve issues across the marketing/sales and customer success functions – must be comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner.
- Build a winning sales team and organization through recruiting and inspiring team members.
Experience:
- 8 years + experience leading revenue operations in EV charging infrastructure
- Deep rolodex within the EV charging space
- Proven results as a Director of Sales or a similarly relevant role with responsibility of at least $10M in revenue
- Organizational Leadership: Proven experience building, leading, mentoring and developing high performance revenue operations. Experience driving cultural change.
- Strategic Impact: Successful track record of defining and executing strategic and innovative initiatives which have had a major impact on the company and market performance.
- Communications: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to understand how and why clients make decisions, and how to influence them. Demonstrated ability to engage with business leaders, C-level executives, external clients, vendors and peers.
- Culture/Stage: Proven track record of successful high-growth organizational leadership. A high level of comfort with a feedback-oriented culture.
- Previous sales, marketing, and/or customer success leadership experience required.
- Experience implementing revenue operation strategies in the EV charging and/or renewable energy industry required.
- Extensive experience building high performing global commercial teams and related business units from the ground up.
- Expertise in new business development, organizational change, digital innovation and business strategy.
