Are you an experienced Grant Writer who is interested in the EV Infrastructure space?
This leading EV infrastructure company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grants and Incentives Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of electric vehicle (EV) grant applications and incentive programs. This role will involve researching, evaluating, and securing funding opportunities, while ensuring compliance and smooth implementation of EV charging infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at project management, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and navigating complex grant processes in the renewable energy space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation, writing, submission, and management of all EV-related grant and incentive applications.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with program requirements, including financial reporting and program milestones.
- Analyze federal and state legislation, utility plans, and policies to identify funding opportunities for EV infrastructure and renewable energy solutions (e.g., battery storage, wind, solar).
- Research and assess federal, state, and private grant opportunities to support innovative energy projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including state departments of transportation, utility companies, and other key funding bodies.
- Partner with site acquisition teams to prioritize and align projects with available incentives.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring they are executed in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare and track budgets related to incentive programs.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of incentive programs, requirements, and proposals.
- Provide executive-level briefings and reports on the status of grant applications and project progress.
Requirements:
- Experience in developing and submitting grant proposals, specifically related to EV infrastructure or renewable energy.
- Strong project management experience, with a focus on energy or transportation sectors.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government program administrators, consultants, and internal teams.
- Experience working with federal and state funding agencies is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database management.
