    Position Overview: We are looking for an accomplished sales professional with a robust background in distributed generation (DG). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling power purchase agreements (PPAs) to corporates or community solar projects to real estate companies. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, incentives, and industry trends, along with the ability to independently originate and close deals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve DG revenue targets.
    • Leverage existing network and build new relationships to generate business opportunities.
    • Sell physical PPAs to corporate clients or community solar projects to real estate firms.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and relevant incentives.
    • Demonstrate a strong ability to independently originate deals and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
    • Maintain a proven track record of closing deals over 10MW annually.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in distributed generation sales. Utility-scale or residential developers transitioning to DG will not be considered.
    • Experience in selling physical PPAs to corporate entities or community solar projects to real estate companies is required.
    • In-depth knowledge of DG markets, industry trends, and relevant incentives.
    • Demonstrated history of stability with a track record of at least several years with fewer, but substantial roles.
    • Proven ability to generate and close deals, with a network of industry contacts.
    • Must be an individual contributor with a history of success in closing >10MW annually.
    • OEM/equipment sales or SaaS sales experience, even with a passion for renewables, is not aligned with this role.
