We are partnered with an exciting Series A funded Software start-up focused on creating a nationwide platform for distributed solar energy development. They aim to grow and consolidate solar projects through a strategy of acquisition and scaling, eventually leading to an exit.

They are looking looking to bring onboard a new VP of Project Finance to support their growth moving forward! This role involves managing financial modeling and tax equity structures, overseeing cash flow and equity finance, and supporting developers through capital and management expertise. The position requires a director-level individual with experience in U.S. energy projects, particularly those related to renewable energy and battery storage, who is looking to step up into a role with more responsibility. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be capable of working in an unstructured environment, and be ready to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Dive deep into spreadsheets and formal tax equity models, particularly for ERCOT battery financing projects.
• Ensure effective capital management and financial operations within the company.
• Manage project finances, create forecasts, and drive financial planning.
• Assist in growing renewable energy projects, especially for small developers.
