We are currently partnered with a seeking a global equipment Tech who have recently expanded to the EV Battery Solutions space and are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to support this growth.
This division is currently in scale-up phase and so they are looking for an innovative and driven person support their presence in the US through to establishing and maintaining new partnerships, communicate effectively the benefit of their technology and developing new sales channels to battery cell manufacturers.
The buzz around electric mobility is real and this cool crew is all about crafting cutting-edge equipment to support the development of EV battery manufacturing. ⚡ Responsibilities:
- Market analysis; analysis of sales opportunities
- Develop new accounts for their Process equipment and systems in the EV battery industry
- Identification and development of new sales channels
- Customer acquisition and relationship management
- Perform sales calls and customer visits, as well as presentations and key account seminars to customers (incl. documentation in CRM)
- Proposal preparation and contract negotiations
- Specify and quote appropriate equipment or system according to the customer’s needs (incl. calculations)
- Achieving sales targets, sales reporting
- Product training
- Coordination of customer tests
- Service and problem solving
- Travel activities
- Sales forecasting
- Preparing and participate on trade shows, participate in organizations and industry activities
- Report leads, active projects, and sales activity to Sales Director
⚡ Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in technical/industrial sales of investment goods in the process industry
- Experience in material processing and/or battery cell production
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly self-motivated and target-oriented
- Problem solving abilities and customer focus
- Solid understanding of process engineering principles, plant design and industrial systems experience from the automotive sector or collaboration with major corporations
- Ideally experience with drying, mixing or dispersing processes
- Ideally experience with or within the EV battery industry or material manufacturers
