We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable individual to take full ownership of Accounting and Finance in a dynamic, high-growth environment. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in financial modelling and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to grow, being the first Finance hire across the business, and so should have aspirations of building a company from the ground up.

You Will:

• Bring the accounting function in-house and establish core systems and processes for visibility and control
• Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of internal and external reports
• Oversee AP/AR operations, including invoice processing, collections, reconciliations, and ensuring accurate transaction records
• Track project-level revenue and costs, performing accounting on a project basis across their ERP system

You Must Have:

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a start-up or growth-stage environment
• Demonstrated ability to build and own accounting processes end-to-end
• Solid grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
• Familiarity with ERP and accounting tools (e.g., Sage Impact or similar)
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in retail, distribution, or project-based accounting environments is a plus
