    Their pipeline is growing so they are building out their team and are very interested in Project Managers with construction experience in utility scale solar. This position requires 7+ years of utility scale solar construction experience.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage multiple utility-scale solar and BESS projects simultaneously across the US.
    • Establish, implement, and manage the project safety program to maintain a safe work environment, actively promoting a safety-focused culture by serving as a mentor and role model.
    • Regularly conducts site safety inspections, participates in progress meetings, reviews incidents, near-misses, HSE reports, and relevant statistics, initiating necessary changes to uphold safety standards, legislative requirements, and environmental guidelines.
    • Develops or supervises the creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) alongside the superintendent.
    • Manages and coordinates the design deliverable schedule to support permitting, procurement, shop drawings, off-site production, construction, and commissioning, with client review and approval.
    • Oversees the project team, client representatives, consultants, and trade contractor relationships, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

     

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 7 years utility-scale solar construction experience.
    • In-depth knowledge and application of health, safety, and environment principles/procedures/legislation.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, safety and quality management practices for large, complex, and more diverse projects.
    • Ability to monitor complex project budgets and schedules, and create and schedule a project.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

⚡ Job Title: Coating Engineer

💼 Industry: Battery Tech

🌎 Location: Tennessee

💰 Salary: $115,000

 

⚡ Key Responsbilities

  • Design & Development: Create and refine wet process PE lithium-ion battery separator coating processes and tooling for the facility’s new coating line.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Sr. Coating Development Engineer and the team in China to implement separator coating formulations into customer samples.
  • Procedure Development: Establish coating run instructions and procedures for the Southern Virginia manufacturing facility in Berry Hill, VA.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify causes and solutions for failed coating runs, and recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, and improvements.
  • Documentation & Standards: Document production problem solutions, develop KPIs for coating and slitting processes, and write clear procedural methods for new equipment.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely and professional completion of projects assigned by management. Support acceptance testing, qualification testing, and troubleshooting for assigned programs.Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and training to support personnel. Set standards for productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Customer Interaction: Work with customers to resolve complex custom designs and technical issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Learn, understand, and implement IATF 16949 quality system standards to ensure compliance.

 

⚡ Required Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with coating equipment technologies, including operation and theory. Experience with microgravure and spray coating technologies is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to convey information appropriately to various internal and external audiences.
  • Planning & Organizing: Capable of developing, adjusting, executing, and monitoring supply and production plans. Skilled in balancing priorities and managing production schedules to optimize workforce efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Calm and professional in unforeseen situations, with the ability to adapt plans to resolve issues promptly.

 

⚡ Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in an applicable Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Preferably experienced in a production environment.
