Development Operations Manager

Responsibilities ● Managing external engineering and environmental consultants as well as providing input and feedback on designs and deliverables. ● Coordinate and manage Schedule and Budgets through the Development process. ● Coordinate and manage communication with internal subject matter experts, consultants, customers, municipalities, and vendors. ● Coordinate and manage fieldwork at development sites. ● Lead the development of more efficient processes for internal reporting, budgeting, performance tracking, data management, metrics collection, and communications. ● Help train and onboard new employees in support of their hiring leader including development and improvement of training materials. ● Ensure that the right reports and dashboards are in place to provide sales leaders with the ability to make informed decisions. ● Ongoing analysis of all stages of development to help project developers spot trends that may need attention and/or open project volume. ● Other duties as they are assigned. Qualifications ● 5+ years of professional work experience with a minimum of 2 years in the renewable and/or energy storage space required. Solar experience is a plus. ● Project management experience, including use of MS project or other PM software, and managing project budgets required. ● Proven ability to work independently, self-start, and prioritize critical tasks without daily work direction. ● Experience with field construction, O&M, or green-field development is required. ● Demonstrable experience translating corporate business goals into strategic initiatives which achieve strong financial results. ● Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment. ● Strong organization and planning abilities. ● Highly driven and hard working with high standards for themselves and others. ● Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Education ● Bachelor’s degree in technical field, business management, other related degree, or equivalent. Strong preference for a degree in engineering. ● MBA or Technical Graduate Degree is a plus. ● PMP certification or other project Management Training is a plus
