    Their pipeline is growing so they are building out their team and are very interested in Project Managers with construction experience in utility scale solar. This position requires 7+ years of utility scale solar construction experience.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage multiple utility-scale solar and BESS projects simultaneously across the US.
    • Establish, implement, and manage the project safety program to maintain a safe work environment, actively promoting a safety-focused culture by serving as a mentor and role model.
    • Regularly conducts site safety inspections, participates in progress meetings, reviews incidents, near-misses, HSE reports, and relevant statistics, initiating necessary changes to uphold safety standards, legislative requirements, and environmental guidelines.
    • Develops or supervises the creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) alongside the superintendent.
    • Manages and coordinates the design deliverable schedule to support permitting, procurement, shop drawings, off-site production, construction, and commissioning, with client review and approval.
    • Oversees the project team, client representatives, consultants, and trade contractor relationships, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

     

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 7 years utility-scale solar construction experience.
    • In-depth knowledge and application of health, safety, and environment principles/procedures/legislation.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, safety and quality management practices for large, complex, and more diverse projects.
    • Ability to monitor complex project budgets and schedules, and create and schedule a project.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

This is an amazing opportunity for a Software Developer to join a renewable energy trading company who primarily trade around BESS, Solar, and Wind to help reduce grid volatility. They have built an industry leading algorithmic optimization trading platform, focusing on energy storage and renewable assets globally. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience trading DA/RT within US power markets and experience building and maintaining models for trading across several ISOs.
 
In this role, you will work closely with their interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance their platform and infrastructure. You will contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of their systems, ensuring they meet the needs of customers and users. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is driving the future of renewable energy.
 
Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience developing with Python.
  • Expertise in Vue.js, API frameworks (like FastAPI, Django), Git, Docker, SQL (Postgres), and orchestration/IaC tools (ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • A transparent, constructive, and proactive approach to technical and interpersonal challenges.
  • Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability and desire to work openly with team members.

Primary Duties:

  • Work closely with internal teams to identify challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Develop and deploy solutions that prioritize simplicity, reusability, and resilience.
  • Continuously improve our platform and infrastructure to better meet the needs of our customers and users.
  • Participate in rotating on-call support to ensure smooth operation of our systems.
