Our team is expanding, and we’re seeking a driven HVAC Project Sales Representative to help grow our presence in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore markets.
Position Overview
As an HVAC Project Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue across our service and project portfolio. This position focuses on selling HVAC retrofit projects, service repairs, and maintenance contracts to commercial and industrial customers.
You’ll combine your technical understanding of HVAC systems with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach to meet client needs and achieve company growth targets.
Key Responsibilities

Develop new customer relationships through prospecting, cold calls, networking, and in-person meetings.

Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with facility managers, building owners, and contractors.

Conduct on-site surveys to evaluate system conditions and develop project scopes and proposals.

Prepare and present detailed quotations for HVAC service, repair, and upgrade work.

Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close deals that align with profitability goals.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate scope development and seamless project execution.

Maintain comprehensive records of sales activity, customer interactions, and project pipelines in CRM tools.

Identify cross-selling opportunities within other divisions, such as automation, controls, or energy efficiency.

Meet or exceed individual and team sales and margin targets.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking organizations to build brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or business degree preferred.

3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC sales, project estimating, or service contracting.

Solid knowledge of HVAC system components, retrofit projects, and maintenance operations.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
