Position: Sales & Business Development Manager – Power Infrastructure Solutions for AI Datacenters

Location: Remote – United States

About the Role

The global expansion of artificial intelligence is driving unprecedented demand for power infrastructure built for scale, reliability, and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to shape that future.

We’re seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth for an integrated power ecosystem tailored to AI datacenters. The offering spans solid-state transformers (SSTs), advanced power conversion systems, and battery energy storage used as UPS solutions.

Operating within a high-growth, agile environment, this role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who combines strong technical fluency with an established network in the datacenter and energy technology markets.

You’ll act as the U.S. market front-runner — opening doors, creating strategic partnerships, and guiding enterprise customers through complex technical and commercial discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Relationship Building

  • Identify, target, and engage hyperscalers, AI datacenter operators, EPCs, and system integrators.

  • Leverage your existing industry relationships to accelerate entry and visibility within the AI power ecosystem.

  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and executive meetings.

Sales Leadership & Execution

  • Own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and close.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned to revenue and growth goals.

  • Develop customer-specific value propositions highlighting efficiency, reliability, and scalability advantages.

Technical & Commercial Engagement

  • Lead early-stage discussions with engineering and procurement teams to understand power requirements and application challenges.

  • Translate technical benefits into commercial value for customers.

  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of emerging technologies including SST, BESS, HVDC systems, and power conversion trends in AI datacenters.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Partnerships

  • Contribute to the U.S. commercialization plan, including pricing, business models, and deployment strategies.

  • Build alliances with integrators, EPCs, component suppliers, and technology partners to accelerate solution adoption.

  • Provide market feedback to guide product development and ensure alignment with customer needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with internal engineering, product, and executive teams to translate customer requirements into actionable development priorities.

  • Contribute insights and competitive intelligence to refine strategy and strengthen market differentiation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 7+ years of sales or business development experience in power systems, datacenter infrastructure, AI/ML environments, or high-tech B2B sectors.

  • Proven record of closing complex, multi-million-dollar deals with enterprise or hyperscale customers.

  • Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of power electronics, energy storage, UPS systems, HVDC, and next-generation transformer technologies.

  • Sales Competence: Skilled in strategic negotiation, consultative selling, and long-cycle enterprise engagements.

  • Industry Network: Established relationships across the U.S. datacenter ecosystem, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, or EPCs.

  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and thrives in dynamic, fast-evolving markets.
