    Key Responsibilities

    Market Development & Relationship Building

    • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and executive meetings.

    Sales Leadership & Execution

    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned to revenue and growth goals.

    • Develop customer-specific value propositions highlighting efficiency, reliability, and scalability advantages.

    Technical & Commercial Engagement

    • Lead early-stage discussions with engineering and procurement teams to understand power requirements and application challenges.

    • Translate technical benefits into commercial value for customers.

    • Maintain an expert-level understanding of emerging technologies including SST, BESS, HVDC systems, and power conversion trends in AI datacenters.

    Go-to-Market Strategy & Partnerships

    • Contribute to the U.S. commercialization plan, including pricing, business models, and deployment strategies.

    • Build alliances with integrators, EPCs, component suppliers, and technology partners to accelerate solution adoption.

    • Provide market feedback to guide product development and ensure alignment with customer needs.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with internal engineering, product, and executive teams to translate customer requirements into actionable development priorities.

    • Contribute insights and competitive intelligence to refine strategy and strengthen market differentiation.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

    • Experience: 7+ years of sales or business development experience in power systems, datacenter infrastructure, AI/ML environments, or high-tech B2B sectors.

    • Proven record of closing complex, multi-million-dollar deals with enterprise or hyperscale customers.

    • Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of power electronics, energy storage, UPS systems, HVDC, and next-generation transformer technologies.

    • Experience interfacing with FAA-certified operations or managing compliance in a Part 145 Repair Station.
    • Strong understanding of aviation MRO operations and processes to scale a production fleet.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document clearly and collaborate with technical and customer-facing teams.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.

    • Proven ownership of complete flight test projects—from test plan to post-flight reporting
    • Expertise in flight test telemetry, instrumentation, and scientific data analysis
    • Strong knowledge of flight test safety protocols, risk mitigation, and system troubleshooting
    • Proficient in CAD (preferably CATIA), technical documentation, and test procedure development
    • US Citizen or Green Card holder

    • DER, ODA Unit Member, or experience with FAA Order 4040.26C and ARP 4754
    • Familiarity with electric propulsion systems: motors, batteries, controllers
    • Programming and data analysis in MATLAB and/or Python
    • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities
    • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

This is a work-remote position, with occasional office meetings and potential overnight travels.

Our client specializes in Energy Efficiency and decarbonization consulting and services for Commercial and Industrial clients across the US.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. A master’s degree or MBA with a focus on sustainability is preferred.
  • 7+ years of technical sales with documented successful sales results track record.
  • A combination of 10+ years relevant work experience, trade license and industry certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
     

Successful Candidates Will Possess The Following
 

  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, energy management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful client focused solutions. Experience in energy and environmental services is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of one or more of the following: renewable energy technologies, energy conservation measures, resiliency measures, sustainability reporting standards, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Reside in or near New England
     

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 

  • Strong Prospecting/Lead Generation/Closing Sales
  • Generating pipeline and meeting quota requirements year over year.
  • Technical, financial and computer skills proficiency is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus or aptitude/willingness to learn.
  • Must have financial literacy and the ability to sell based on project financial benefits.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and identify their budgets, needs and goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills, time management and detail oriented.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with market managers and subject matter experts.
