  • Position solutions early in the project lifecycle to influence specifications
  • Build and manage a long-term sales pipeline (12–36 months)

Account & Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with utilities, EPC firms, consultants, and industrial clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor on system reliability, power quality, and compliance solutions
  • Deliver a high-quality, end-to-end customer experience

Technical & Commercial Leadership

  • Lead solution positioning for advanced electrical infrastructure offerings, including reactive power systems, substation equipment, and grid technologies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop proposals and competitive bid strategies
  • Support RFP/RFQ processes and lead commercial negotiations

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and infrastructure investments
  • Track project pipelines, capital planning cycles, and interconnection activity
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive risks, and growth areas
  • Provide accurate forecasting and territory performance reporting

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in utility, energy, or heavy industrial sectors
  • Proven success closing large, complex capital equipment deals
  • Strong understanding of transmission & distribution systems and substation infrastructure
  • Experience managing long sales cycles (6–36 months)

Preferred

  • Experience with MV/HV equipment, substation systems, or grid technologies
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of EPC project structures and utility procurement processes
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
