Our client is a recently funded leader in the EV Charging space and are building and managing state of the art charging infrastructure to encourage mass adoption of electric vehicles for residential, commercial, businesses and fleets!
They are growing rapidly and are looking for a VP of Engineering to join their team to take them through this next phase of growth. They’re looking for a hands on leader coming from the EV Charging space, who has extensive experience scaling teams and EV Charging platforms, as well as a strong background in fund raising.
Responsibilities🔨:
Lead a team of 20 engineers, and scale to 40 in 12 months
Hands-on leader driving developments of their EV Charging software platform
Create engineering best practise for the organisation
Be a key player in next funding raise
Promote technical best practices, set direction for recruitment and strategy
Work cross-functionally with product, sales and data teams
Requirements 📑:
10+ years experience managing and scaling engineering teams (ideally in a start-up)
Minimum 5 years professional experience in the EV Charging space
Strong experience fund raising (ideally Series A to B)
Track record developing and scaling EV Charging software for leading organisations
Strong understanding of modern technologies – knowing the ‘right tools for the job’
