We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Data Engineering team as the Head of Data Engineering at one of our enterprise clients, a pioneering leader in the renewable energy industry.

As the Head of Data Engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy through advanced data solutions.
As the Head of Data Engineering, you will lead a team of Data Team Leads and collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. You will take on a largely strategic role, while establishing a data-first culture within the organization.
What you bring to the table:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in data engineering, with years of experience in leading leaders.
Strong expertise in data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data modeling
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies
Familiarity with renewable energy industry trends and challenges is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams
What you’ll be doing:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Data teams
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data compliance and security
Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration within the team
