    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a fast-growing EV charging company that’s shaping the future of mobility and energy. The company is committed to accelerating the transition to clean transport, and this role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial operations as we scale.
     
    As the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll oversee the entire AP function, ensuring accurate, timely payments and seamless vendor relationships. You will play a critical role in improving processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting the finance team through key reporting cycles. You’ll also be expected to bring ideas for continuous improvement, implement automation where possible, and ensure we’re operating at best-practice levels as we grow.
     
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies and procedures based on best practices
    • Oversee full-cycle vendor management, PO and invoice processing via Coupa, NetSuite ERP, and Salesforce/Sitetracker
    • Lead and support AP-related system implementations/enhancements (e.g., expense reporting, travel management, virtual credit cards)
    • Hire, train, and develop AP staff; ensure team is fully trained and cross-functional
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
    • Manage AP month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
    • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in the AP Aging Report, supplier statements, and general ledger
    • Maintain documentation for SOX compliance and evaluate internal controls for improvement
    • Develop and report AP metrics related to accuracy, staffing, and operational efficiency
    • Lead audit support and ad-hoc analysis as needed

     
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • 5+ years of progressive AP or Accounting experience
    • 2+ years managing or supervising AP teams, with a passion for mentoring
    • 2+ years of hands-on Coupa experience (Coupa Admin a plus)
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
    • Experience working in a public company and SOX environment preferred
    • Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, and project management tools like Sitetracker
    • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

    Overview: The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Application Engineer is responsible for the technical scope required to deliver BESS proposals.
