By leveraging software to control and optimize assets like batteries, EVs, and HVAC systems, this company helps commercial customers unlock value through energy markets and smarter energy management.
The Role:
We’re seeking a motivated Account Executive with a strong understanding of energy management or retail energy. You’ll own the full sales cycle—building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and driving deals to close.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and engage high-potential prospects
- Build tailored messaging using Salesforce and LinkedIn
- Qualify leads within target verticals
Sales Process Management:
- Run discovery calls to understand customer needs
- Build mutual action plans and drive momentum
- Present custom energy solutions and close contracts
Relationship Building:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
- Maintain long-term relationships that drive growth
Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, product, and customer success teams
- Share market feedback to guide GTM and product strategy
Performance Tracking:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and accurately forecast pipeline
- Maintain CRM hygiene and reporting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience
- Track record of exceeding targets in energy, SaaS, or related fields
- Deep understanding of energy management or retail energy markets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with franchise clients is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
