    ⚡ Position Summary:

    Seeking an experienced Senior Renewable Energy Project Engineer to oversee the end‑to‑end technical development of their CSP‑based power and heat installations. You will drive both pre‑sales feasibility and post‑sales execution, ensuring designs are optimized, manufactured to spec, commissioned flawlessly, and continually improved.

     

    ⚡ Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop preliminary application‑engineering tools to size heliostat fields, estimate power & heat output, design energy storage systems, and calculate project costs
    • Build detailed lifecycle cost models (CAPEX, installation, O&M) for each deployment
    • Perform core engineering analyses (energy balances, thermal storage sizing, pressure drops, etc.)
    • Utilize software such as SAMS, PVWatts, AutoCAD, and Visio for system layout and performance modeling
    • Conduct field surveys at client sites and collaborate with remote teams across multiple regions
    • Produce site plans, single‑line diagrams, P&IDs, and PFDs aligned with project requirements
    • Specify and liaise with equipment vendors to ensure components meet proprietary design criteria
    • Lead on‑site commissioning, testing, and validation of CSP plants
    • Capture “lessons learned” and integrate best practices into future projects
    • Train local operations & maintenance teams on system handover
    • Stay current on emerging renewable‑energy technologies through literature review and industry events
    • Travel commitment: ~10–20%

     

    ⚡ Required Qualifications:

    • 15+ years in power generation or clean‑energy project engineering
    • 10+ years as an application engineer on utility‑scale renewable projects
    • 5+ years of hands‑on CSP system design and deployment
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
    • Deep understanding of CSP technologies (heliostats, storage, power blocks)
    • Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, energy systems, and electrical fundamentals
    • Proven ability to generate detailed site layouts, SLDs, P&IDs, and PFDs
    • Track record of driving projects from concept through commissioning
    • Experience with FMEA and HAZOP analyses
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

⚡About Us:

I’m partnered up with a company that is pioneering the future of aviation with their advanced eVTOL aircraft. I’m looking for a talented Senior Battery Design Engineer to spearhead the design and development of state-of-the-art battery modules and packs for there electric aircraft. You will play a key role in designing and developing systems that will redefine air travel.

 

⚡ Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of high-performance battery packs and modules for eVTOL aircraft, focusing on energy density, structural integrity, thermal management, and safety.
  • Create and maintain detailed design documentation for battery enclosures, mounting systems, and thermal management solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations like UN38.3 and DO-160.
  • Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and ease of manufacture.
  • Work closely with electrical, thermal, and vehicle integration teams to ensure seamless integration of battery systems into electric vehicles, meeting product requirements and performance targets.
  • Design testing environments, analyze results, and iterate designs to improve overall performance.
  • Lead validation efforts, including thermal propagation, mechanical testing, and reliability assessments in both laboratory settings and on test vehicles.
  • Oversee testing for environmental conditions, durability, and crashworthiness of battery systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and promoting technical excellence across the team.
  • Manage project timelines, coordinate with vendors, and ensure production schedules are met for on-time product delivery.

 

⚡ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in battery module/pack design and development, ideally with a background in EV, aerospace, or aviation.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes relevant to electric vehicle battery systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CATIA) and FEA tools (preferably ABAQUS/3DX) for structural analysis and optimization.
  • Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems and apply analytical thinking to drive solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly explain technical concepts and project progress to both team members and stakeholders.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills, with a focus on guiding junior engineers to achieve project and professional goals.

 

⚡ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with eVTOL or other electric aircraft projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for aerospace batteries (e.g., FAA, EASA).
