Your Next Opportunity
The Engineering Team Lead is a leadership position overseeing technical engineering efforts and managing design teams. This role combines project management, resource planning, and mentorship with technical oversight, ensuring successful delivery of electrical engineering projects.
What You’ll Do

Develop project design fees and work plans for engineering and production resources.

Lead teams of engineers, designers, and modeling staff through all phases of project work.

Partner with project managers and executives to align deliverables, budgets, and schedules.

Resolve complex design challenges including coordination requirements and unconventional materials.

Oversee coordination with municipalities, utility providers, and regulatory agencies.

Attend design-build meetings and perform site visits to assess installations or existing conditions.

Conduct value engineering studies and act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with a strong background in medium voltage relays (SEL, ABB, GE, SEPAM).

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Field experience in construction environments is highly preferred.

Proven leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of power distribution systems, relay testing, codes and standards, and electrical system studies (short circuit, arc flash, load flow, protection).
Working Conditions & Travel

Office-based with site visits required (up to 25% travel).

Mix of desk-based work and field inspections.

Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
