⚡ Position Overview:
This leadership role blends market expertise, strategic analysis, and team collaboration. You’ll guide multidisciplinary project teams to assess market performance, design improvements, and propose rule changes to regulatory bodies. The role offers exposure to diverse stakeholders and the ability to directly shape how electricity markets evolve to support clean energy technologies.
⚡ Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to research, assess, and enhance electricity market structures
- Propose and evaluate changes to market products, pricing mechanisms, and operational rules
- Communicate complex design proposals to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives and regulators
- Support formal regulatory filings and expert testimony
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team through feedback and performance management
- Collaborate with economists, engineers, data scientists, and policy experts on innovative market solutions
⚡ Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related fields
- Experience managing energy-related projects or teams (market design, power systems, trading, etc.)
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Experience conducting technical research and executing project-based work
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage diverse stakeholder groups
