We are partnered with an award-winning, design-build firm offering turnkey retrofit and construction projects for commercial, K-12 and Higher Education facilities. Our client engage multidisciplinary team of technical engineers on multimillion dollar projects to achieve complex energy efficiency and decarbonization targets.


Who you are

You are a solution seller, a hunter, and overall, an ambitious Business Development Manager who is capable of growing new business through the acquisition of multi-million dollar energy efficiency projects. You will be capable of chasing business tenaciously, problem-solving with clients collaboratively, and closing deals effectively. Although this position allows for remote work, proximity to their New York Office is highly preferred.


What you will do:

Conduct fresh business development by leveraging contacts to source new leads
Multidisciplinary work with the Client Acquisition team to help build robust sales pipeline, and with the engineering experts to asses client needs and where value can be added
Regularly connect with clients, educating them on how to enhance their business’ energy efficiency
Lead on-site sales pitches with the aid of engineering experts
Generate go-to-market strategy to capture the higher education market in the Northeast
Your Experience:

Enterprise sales with a solution-centric approach is a must – you must also have enagaged C-suites over the course of a long and complex sales cycle (12 months plus)
Strong track record of enterprise sales with average deals sizes of $5M+
Demonstrable strong local networks of candidates to drive new business development from day one
Valid Drivers license – this role requires you to travel across the Northeast

Generous base salary ($130,000 to $180,000 negotiable) + commission structure
