We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team in shaping an exceptional user experience for our digital products and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, efficient, and captivating designs that reflect our commitment to user-centered design principles.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders. You will be leading the company’s efforts to improve user experience, coordinating with customers to gather feedback and insights to shape the products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s efforts within user experience design
- Collaborate with customers to coordinate improvements in the user experience
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas and improve user experience
- Work with developers to bring designs to life and ensure optimal user experience
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Requirements:
- You MUST have a min Norwegian level of B1
- 7 – 8 years of experience in UX with major focus on the functionality (and less of the design part)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience in wireframe development, storyboarding, user flows, and process flows
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to ensure an optimal user experience
Preferred:
- Experience designing for expert users in enterprise environments, specifically within the utilities sector
- Expertise in creating clear visualizations of large data sets to enhance user engagement and simplify complex information
