    This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Construction Implementation Manager  to lead the installation and activation of EV charging infrastructure across multifamily properties.     As an Implementation Project Manager, you will work closely with property owners, developers, and contractors to keep installations on track, solve challenges proactively, and drive process improvements.     Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee full-cycle vendor management, PO and invoice processing via Coupa, NetSuite ERP, and Salesforce/Sitetracker
    • Lead and support AP-related system implementations/enhancements (e.g., expense reporting, travel management, virtual credit cards)
    • Hire, train, and develop AP staff; ensure team is fully trained and cross-functional
    • Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
    • Manage AP month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
    • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in the AP Aging Report, supplier statements, and general ledger
    • Maintain documentation for SOX compliance and evaluate internal controls for improvement
    • Develop and report AP metrics related to accuracy, staffing, and operational efficiency
    • Lead audit support and ad-hoc analysis as needed

     
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • 5+ years of progressive AP or Accounting experience
    • 2+ years managing or supervising AP teams, with a passion for mentoring
    • 2+ years of hands-on Coupa experience (Coupa Admin a plus)
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls

    • Meet with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to address open plan check comments, including structural, electrical, and fire-related feedback.
    • Manage the BESS commissioning process to ensure seamless operation and customer satisfaction.
    • Advise on the role of inverters and power control system technologies within BESS applications.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to tailor offerings based on customer needs and market demands.
    • Mentor less experienced staff and provide technical support and guidance to team members.

    Requirements:

    • 4-year college degree (preferred).
    • 5+ years of relevant technical experience or applications engineering experience with photovoltaics and battery energy storage systems (OEM experience preferred).
    • Deep understanding of renewables and battery storage systems, including microgrid design, control schema for different use cases such as stand-alone storage, PV + storage, microgrids with multiple generation forms, and load control.
    • Solid knowledge of single-line drawings and equipment specifications.
    • Expertise in codes and standards related to battery-based energy storage systems, including UL9540, UL1741, UL9540A, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 855, International Building Code (IBC), California Title 24, and California Rule 21.
    • Ability to travel to locations in North America as required.
    • Prior experience in developing BESS proposals.
    • Customer-focused, collaborative team member who can adapt to a rapidly changing market.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and provide clear solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Construction Implementation Manager  to lead the installation and activation of EV charging infrastructure across multifamily properties. You will oversee projects from permitting and procurement to construction and activation, ensuring seamless execution, budget adherence, and quality standards.
 
As an Implementation Project Manager, you will work closely with property owners, developers, and contractors to keep installations on track, solve challenges proactively, and drive process improvements. If you have a passion for EV charging, infrastructure, and project management, this role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the fast-growing clean tech industry.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage EV charging installation projects from permitting through activation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Oversee contractors remotely, addressing challenges to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in real-time to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Track project performance, manage schedules and budgets, and build long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of project management experience in construction, EV charging, or multifamily housing.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including EV charging infrastructure, power distribution, and permitting.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Passion for EV charging and clean technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
