Storm4

Director of Construction Management

📍 Pennsylvania, United States

💰 $230,000 – $260,000 Base Salary 💸 40% Annual Bonus

Storm4 is partnered with a leading digital infrastructure developer delivering some of North America’s most advanced hyperscale and colocation data center campuses.

With an aggressive growth pipeline and multiple large-scale developments underway, they are seeking a Director of Construction Management to lead regional delivery operations, oversee major construction programs, and develop high-performing teams responsible for executing mission-critical infrastructure projects at scale.

This is a strategic leadership role offering ownership of a multi-billion-dollar construction portfolio while directly influencing project execution standards, operational excellence, and team development across an expanding platform.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior platform leadership, you’ll oversee a team of Construction Managers responsible for driving projects from preconstruction through commissioning and client handover.

You’ll act as the regional construction leader, partnering closely with Design Management, Development, Procurement, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with complete performance certainty.

This role is ideal for a proven construction executive who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, or other mission-critical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Lead a regional team of Construction Managers delivering complex data center developments

✅ Own project execution from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover

✅ Oversee multiple active campus developments simultaneously

✅ Build and maintain executive-level relationships with GCs, MEP contractors, trade partners, AHJs, and consultants

✅ Drive construction standards, best practices, governance, accountability, and performance metrics

✅ Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, risk mitigation, and commercial outcomes

✅ Support contractor procurement, vendor selection, and contract administration processes

✅ Develop and mentor high-performing construction teams while creating scalable training programs

✅ Partner with internal stakeholders across design, engineering, procurement, operations, finance, and executive leadership

✅ Champion innovation, lean construction practices, modular delivery approaches, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

✔ 12+ years of commercial or mission-critical construction experience

✔ Strong data center construction experience required

✔ Experience managing large-scale hyperscale, colocation, industrial, or mission-critical projects

✔ Previous leadership experience managing and developing construction teams

✔ Deep understanding of MEP infrastructure, commissioning, project controls, and contractor management

✔ Experience working with major general contractors and trade partners on complex projects

✔ Strong knowledge of construction delivery methodologies including Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, GMP, and IPD

✔ Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risk, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent projects

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

✔ Ability to travel as needed across the region

Why Join?

🏗 Lead the delivery of some of the industry’s most significant hyperscale and colocation developments

📈 Join a business experiencing substantial growth and investment

🤝 Work alongside some of the most respected leaders in digital infrastructure construction

🚀 Significant opportunity for progression within a rapidly expanding platform

💰 Executive-level compensation package with strong bonus potential

If you’re a construction leader with a track record of delivering mission-critical infrastructure and developing exceptional teams, we’d love to hear from you.
