Overview

A leading data center developer is seeking a Regional Director of Construction to oversee a portfolio of large-scale AI and cloud infrastructure developments across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for multiple campuses, active projects, construction teams, and delivery partners. The successful candidate will provide regional oversight, accountability, and strategic leadership across a rapidly growing development portfolio.

The role requires a proven data center construction leader with experience delivering complex ground-up projects from site development through commissioning and operational turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities across multiple active data center campuses and development programs.
• Oversee Construction Managers, project teams, and delivery partners across the region.
• Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall project performance.
• Drive projects from early site development through commissioning and customer handover.
• Support construction planning, execution, risk management, and operational readiness activities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery standards across all projects.
• Build and develop high-performing construction teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Act as a senior escalation point for project, contractor, and delivery-related issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, MEP partners, utilities, commissioning providers, and other key stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Proven experience leading multiple data center campuses or large regional construction operations.
• Strong background in mission-critical, data center, or highly technical industrial construction environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale ground-up projects through commissioning and full-capacity turnover.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple project teams, construction managers, and campus leaders simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of power infrastructure, utility coordination, energy systems, and commissioning interfaces.
• Track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated career stability and long-term progression within construction leadership roles.
• Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and able to maintain a regular site presence.
